Milan, 30 April (LaPresse) – Hamas posted a message on Telegram encouraging Palestinians to ‘burn everything you can, woods, forests and settlers’ homes’. The Jerusalem Post reports that. ‘West Bank youths, Jerusalem youths and those inside Israel, set fire to their cars…. Gaza awaits the revenge of the free,' the Palestinian group wrote. The newspaper points out that earlier the Telegram channel ‘Jenin News Network’ had called on Palestinians to ‘burn the forests near the settlements’. A number of fires have been burning near Jerusalem since this morning. Jerusalem Post adds that on social networks the fires are referred to by some users as ‘Flames of the Flood’, in allusion to the name given by Hamas to the 7 October 2023 massacre, i.e. ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’.
