Milan, 30 April (LaPresse) – In the Gaza Strip ‘our goal is a clear and uncompromising victory’ over Hamas. This was said by Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz, speaking during the Memorial Day ceremony on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. ‘It is our duty to defeat those who slaughtered our citizens on that terrible Shabbat and to ensure that such enemies are no longer near our borders and do not pose a threat to the State of Israel,’ he said, ’we will not allow the State of Israel to be threatened with destruction.’ The Times of Israel reported this.
