Milan, April 28 (LaPresse) – "If Russia truly wants peace, it must immediately cease fire. Why wait until May 8? If it is possible to stop the fire now and for a period of 30 days, then it would be a real measure, not just a parade," wrote Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha in a post on social media platform X, following Russian President Vladimir Putin’s announcement of a three-day truce in Ukraine.
"Ukraine is ready to support a lasting, stable, and complete ceasefire. This is exactly what we have been consistently proposing, for at least 30 days," he added.
