Rome, April 26 (LaPresse) – "Excellent meeting. We had a long one-on-one discussion. We hope for concrete results on all the issues we addressed," wrote Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on X after meeting Donald Trump before Pope Francis’s funeral at St. Peter’s.
"Protecting the lives of our people. A full and unconditional ceasefire. A reliable and lasting peace that prevents the outbreak of another war.
A very symbolic meeting that has the potential to become historic if we achieve joint results," he added.
