Ukraine, Russian intelligence chief: "Constructive conversation with CIA director"

Moscow, April 24 (LaPresse) – The head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), Sergei Naryshkin, reported having a phone conversation with the head of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), John Ratcliffe, announcing the possibility of a meeting. "We had a phone conversation with the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency. It was a very constructive conversation. Therefore, I do not rule out that a meeting could take place in the near future," Naryshkin told the Tass news agency. With the arrival of U.S. President Donald Trump's administration in Washington, Russian-American dialogue has intensified, the Russian agency notes, recalling that Russian-American negotiations on Ukraine took place in Riyadh on February 19.
