Milan, 24 April (LaPresse) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, will be in Egypt today for meetings with the President of the Republic, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Badr Abdelatty. The first objective of the visit is to sign a number of agreements, including first of all a memorandum for the creation of an Italian-Egyptian Employment Centre, aimed at facilitating the integration of young people, trained in Italian technical-professional schools in Egypt, into both the local and the Italian labour market. The Employment Centre is an instrumental initiative to respond to Italian companies' pressing demand for skilled labour, as well as to encourage regular and orderly migration flows to Italy. The centre will be financed by the new EU programme ‘Partnership of Talents’ and is part of the Mattei Plan initiatives. Among the topics that will be discussed is the strengthening of collaboration in migration management and in the cultural field.
