Milan, 23 April (LaPresse) – During his visit to Brazil, Chilean President Gabriel Boric met with his Brazilian counterpart, Luis Inacio Lula da Silva, and the two agreed that regional integration is the best response to trade wars. This was reported by Chilean media. Lula also mentioned China: ‘You don't want a cold war and I don't want a cold war. I don't want to have to choose between the United States and China,’ he said, referring to Boric, whom he advised to ‘move closer’ to Beijing. Lula also invited Boric to an upcoming summit of the BRICS, an organisation founded by Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa and later expanded.
