Milan, Apr. 17 (LaPresse) – The leader of the National Unity party, Benny Gantz, reacted to the news that Israel had shelved its plan to attack Iranian nuclear sites after US President Donald Trump rejected it and opted for the diplomatic route, stating on X that ‘the Iranian regime is an expert at stalling.’ The Times of Israel reports that. ‘The State of Israel must and can eliminate the prospect of an Iranian nuclear capability.’ In a Hebrew version of the post, Gantz explicitly states that Israel ‘must and can strike Iran’. ‘In close cooperation with our great ally, the United States, it is time to change the Middle East,’ he adds.
