Milan, 16 Apr. (LaPresse) – ‘Japan will arrive today to negotiate tariffs, the cost of military support and “trade fairness”. I will attend the meeting, together with the Secretaries of the Treasury and Commerce’. US President Donald Trump wrote this in a post on his social network Truth. ‘Hopefully a solution can be reached that is good (great!) for both Japan and the United States!’ adds Trump. Japan's chief trade negotiator, the Minister for Economic Revitalisation, Ryosei Akazawa, will be in the US from today until Friday for talks aimed at convincing Trump to remove the tariffs against the Asian country.
