Paris (France), Apr 15 (LaPresse/AP) – France has announced the expulsion of 12 Algerian diplomatic officials. A gesture that marks the escalation of tensions between the two countries. According to reports from the Elysée Palace, the decision follows that of Algeria, which in turn expelled 12 French officials on Monday. ‘France will proceed symmetrically with the expulsion of 12 officials belonging to the Algerian consular and diplomatic network in France,’ the presidential office statement read.
