Milan, April 14 (LaPresse) – "I am deeply alarmed by the Russian missile attack on Sunday in Sumy, Ukraine, which prolongs the devastating series of similar attacks. Attacks against civilians are prohibited by international law and must stop immediately," said UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in a post on X. "I renew my call for a lasting ceasefire and reiterate the UN's support for achieving a just, lasting, and comprehensive peace that fully respects Ukraine’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity," he added.
