Brussels, 11 Apr. (LaPresse) – ‘Today the Finance Ministers met to address the macroeconomic implications of the ongoing trade dispute. We recognised the possible negative impact of the trade dispute, with increased tensions on economic prosperity. The impacts on GDP are expected to be greater for the US than for the EU. That said, it is our duty to do whatever it takes to protect European citizens, protect European citizens, protect European companies’. This was said by the Polish Finance Minister, Andrzej Domanski, of the rotating presidency of the EU Council, at a press conference at the informal Ecofin in Warsaw.
