Turin, April 4 (LaPresse) – The toll from the Russian attack in the city of Kryvyi Rih, President Volodymyr Zelensky's hometown, has risen. "A missile hit an ordinary city, striking directly a street in a residential area. According to initial information, this was a ballistic missile attack," Zelensky wrote on X. "So far, 14 victims have been confirmed, including six children. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Rescue operations are still ongoing, and at least five residential buildings have been damaged." "Russian attacks happen every day. Every day, people die," Zelensky explained. "There is only one reason why all of this continues: Russia doesn't want a ceasefire, and we see this clearly. The whole world sees it. Every missile, every attack drone proves that Russia only wants war. Only the pressure from the world on Russia, only efforts to strengthen Ukraine, our air defense, and our forces can determine when this war will end." "The United States, Europe, and the rest of the world have the power to force Russia to abandon terror and war. And this must be ensured: there is a need for peace," he concluded.

"Les États-Unis, l'Europe et le reste du monde ont le pouvoir de forcer la Russie à abandonner la terreur et la guerre. Et cela doit être garanti : il y a un besoin de paix", a-t-il conclu.
