Milan, April 3 (LaPresse) – In response to Hungary's decision to withdraw from the International Criminal Court (ICC), which was announced by the government of Budapest during Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to the country, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar thanked Viktor Orban. "I congratulate Hungary for the important decision to withdraw from the ICC," Orban wrote on X. "The so-called International Criminal Court has lost its moral authority after trampling on the fundamental principles of international law in its eagerness to harm Israel's right to self-defense," Saar wrote. "Thank you, Hungary, for your clear and strong moral stance alongside Israel and the principles of justice and sovereignty!" he added.
