Rome, 1 Apr. (LaPresse) – The Vice President of the United States, J.D. Vance, is planning to visit Italy by the end of the month. Bloomberg reports this on its website, explaining that the American embassy in Rome has communicated the Vice President's plans to the Italian Foreign Ministry. US diplomats are said to have asked their Italian counterparts to organise a meeting with the Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni. The provisional programme – we read again – foresees that Vance will be in Rome from 18 to 20 April, dates that coincide with Good Friday and Easter Sunday, but the travel plan is described as ‘evolving’ and therefore subject to change.
