Rome, 1 Apr. (LaPresse) – ‘They will do everything they can to stop us from coming to power’. This was stated by the president of the National Rally (Rn), Jordan Bardella, during an interview with CNews-Europe the day after the conviction of Marine Le Pen for misappropriation of public funds and her ineligibility to stand for election. Bardella drew a parallel between the ‘climate’ in France and in Romania, where the presidential elections were cancelled after the far-right candidate came out on top in the first round.
