Milan, 31 Mar. (LaPresse) – King Charles will return to public appearances this week, after the side effects of his cancer treatment prevented him from attending his official engagements last Friday. The King rested at Highgrove, his estate in Gloucestershire, over the weekend and will return to his official duties in the next few days, including an audience with the Prime Minister and the investitures at Windsor Castle. This was reported by the BBC. Last Thursday the King spent a short time in hospital in London, after suffering from ‘temporary side effects’ due to cancer treatments. Despite the hospitalisation, he then felt better during the day and carried out some work in his study at Clarence House before having dinner with the Queen.
