Madrid (Spain), 31 Mar. (LaPresse) – ‘All we want to see is a just and lasting peace’ in Ukraine and ‘to achieve this peace we need Putin to agree to a ceasefire without conditions, now’. This was said by the UK Foreign Secretary, David Lammy, on arriving at the G5+ group ministerial meeting in Madrid. ‘It is important that European partners continue to strengthen Euro-Atlantic security and defence and for this reason’ we in the UK “are committed to reaching 2.5% of defence spending by 2027 and then reaching 3%,” he added.
