Rome, March 20 (LaPresse) – A ballistic missile launched from Yemen was shot down by the Israeli Air Force before it entered the airspace. Warning sirens sounded throughout central Israel and the Jerusalem area, and the Israel Defense Forces say they ‘were activated in accordance with protocol’ due to fears of falling debris. This was reported by the Israeli media. The Houthi rebels in Yemen – writes the Times of Israel – claimed responsibility for the missile, saying that the target was Ben Gurion airport.
