Turin, March 17 (LaPresse) – The Trump administration is considering the possibility of recognizing the Ukrainian region of Crimea as Russian territory as part of a future agreement to end Moscow's war against Kyiv. This was reported by the Semafor website, citing two sources familiar with the matter. According to the sources, administration officials have also discussed the possibility of urging the United Nations to do the same. The US administration's openness to these options comes as Trump prepares for a phone call tomorrow, Tuesday, with Russian President Vladimir Putin, with a possible 30-day ceasefire agreement on the table.
