Milan, March 12 (LaPresse) – The director of Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), Sergei Naryshkin, held a phone conversation with CIA Director John Ratcliffe. The Russian news agency RIA Novosti reported this, citing the SVR.
"On March 11, 2025, a phone conversation took place between the director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, and the head of the US CIA, John Ratcliffe," the department stated.
The intelligence chiefs agreed to maintain regular contact to help ensure international stability and security, as well as to reduce tensions in relations between Moscow and Washington.
