Buenos Aires (Argentina), Mar 10 (LaPresse) – Argentine President Javier Milei has declared three days of national mourning ‘for the deaths of his compatriots’ in Friday's storm and subsequent floods that hit the city of Bahia Blanca and surrounding areas. Thus a note added that the presidency announced, among other measures, the allocation of some 10 billion pesos (about 9.4 million dollars) for repairs and reconstruction of the city. A mobile hospital with a capacity of 40 patients will be installed in the area. The national flag will fly at half-mast for three days on all public buildings, while officials and rulers will be required to wear a black lapel ribbon. Bahia Blanca rescue workers reported three more deaths, bringing the death toll to 16. They also reported that numerous reports of missing persons had been received.
