Seoul (South Korea), Mar 8 (LaPresse/AP) – South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, who was impeached and suspended from office, has been released from prison, where he had been held since January. Yoon waved and bowed deeply to his supporters after leaving a detention center in Seoul, a day after a court overturned his arrest to allow him to stand trial for his rebellion charges without being physically detained. Yoon was arrested and indicted by prosecutors in January for his December 3 martial law decree, which plunged the country into major political turmoil.
