Milan, 6 March (LaPresse) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has compared French President Emmanuel Macron to Hitler and Napoleon. This was reported by the Russian press agency Tass. ‘Unlike his predecessors, who also wanted to fight Russia – Napoleon, Hitler – Mr Macron is not acting very graciously,’ Lavrov said at a press conference. ‘Because they said directly: “We must conquer Russia, we must defeat Russia”. And he, apparently, wants the same thing, but for some reason he says that we must fight Russia so that it doesn't defeat France, that Russia creates threats to France and Europe,’ Lavrov argued.
