Rome, 4 Mar. (LaPresse) – In the Middle East ‘there will be no real peace without the creation of a Palestinian state, and peace is not achieved by force and cannot be imposed by force. We must look at reality objectively and confront the facts'. This was stated by the Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, during his speech at the ongoing meeting of Arab countries in Cairo. ‘We call for the adoption of our plan that safeguards the right of the Palestinian people to rebuild their homeland and remain on their own,’ the Cairo leader added, stressing that – in his view – US President Donald Trump “is capable of ending the tension and hostility in our region”.
