Turin, Feb 28 (LaPresse) – Hamas has reiterated its ‘full commitment’ to the ceasefire with Israel. ‘With the conclusion of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement and the exchange of prisoners,’ we confirm our “full commitment to the implementation of all the clauses of the agreement in all its phases and details,” read a statement from the Palestinian movement, quoted by Al Jazeera. ‘We call on the international community,’ Hamas added, ’to put pressure on the Zionist occupation to fully commit to its role in the agreement and immediately enter the second phase without any delay or hesitation. The first phase of the truce ends on Saturday. Representatives of the two sides and mediators will meet in Egypt to discuss the second phase.
