Milan, 25 Feb (LaPresse/AP) – South Korea's Constitutional Court has kicked off the final hearing in the impeachment trial of President Yoon Suk Yeol. Yoon was previously impeached and arrested for imposing martial law last 3 December, which was later lifted. In previous presidential impeachment cases, the court issued its verdict within about two weeks of the final hearing. Yoon is also facing a separate trial where he is charged with the crime of insurrection, an offence punishable by life imprisonment or the death penalty.
