Moscow, Feb. 23 (LaPresse) – "It was fate, it was the will of God, one could even say that such a difficult but honorable mission has fallen on our shoulders: to defend Russia." This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, as reported by Russian news agencies, on the occasion of the Defenders of the Fatherland Day. "We are fighting for our homeland and we will do everything, you and those close to you, we will all do everything to pass it on to future generations, to our children, to our grandchildren," said Putin.
