Thus the family of Shiri Bibas, mother of the two Israeli hostage children who died in the Gaza Strip at the hands of Hamas, on the social account ‘Bring Bibas Back’. ‘After the identification process at the Institute of Forensic Medicine, this morning we received the news we feared most. Our Shiri was killed in captivity and has now returned home to her children, husband, sister and the rest of the family,’ they write further. They add: ‘Despite our fears for their fate, we hoped to be able to embrace them again, and now we are heartbroken and saddened. Shiri was a wonderful mother to Ariel and Kfir, a loving partner to Yarden, a loving sister and aunt, and an amazing friend'.
