Berlin (Germany), 22 Feb. (LaPresse) – “I don't believe in miracles, but in election victory”. This was said by the German chancellor and SPD candidate, Olaf Scholz, at the closing of the election campaign in Potsdam, in view of the federal elections on Sunday. ‘I am convinced that this time many people will only make their decision at the ballot box’, said Scholz, who said he was sure that many people would decide to vote for the SPD “so that we can be strong enough and the government can continue under my leadership”.
