Frankfurt (Germany), Feb 21 (LaPresse) – "In this country, it is not allowed for anyone to walk around throwing insults. Not at the market pizza and not on social media either." This was stated by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, as reported by Bild, during an SPD election event in Dortmund, in reference to U.S. Vice President JD Vance and his controversial speech at the Munich Security Conference, where, among other things, he accused Europe of losing its values and urged German parties to collaborate with the far-right AfD. "We will insist on our rules in Europe, for example, that Nazi symbols are prohibited in Europe and will remain so," Scholz added, promising to work towards ensuring "our country is not divided."
