Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told government ministers during a recent meeting that Israel's conditions for the upcoming negotiations on the second phase of the hostage deal include the disarmament of Hamas, the cessation of the organization's presence in Gaza, and the exclusion of the Palestinian National Authority from the post-war management of Gaza. Channel 12 reported this information. It remains unclear whether these demands can coexist with efforts to free all remaining Israeli hostages. Netanyahu further stated that a separate meeting would be held to discuss the second phase of negotiations before the Israeli delegation departs for Doha. The delegation will be led by Netanyahu's confidant and Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer, after the Prime Minister sidelined the heads of Shin Bet, Mossad, and the IDF's key hostage negotiator, Nitzan Alon, with whom he clashed during talks.
