Milan, Feb. 18 (LaPresse) – The Israeli military (IDF) will "strongly" enforce the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon and act against any Hezbollah threats. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that Israeli soldiers will remain in five strategic positions in Lebanon. "Starting today, the IDF will stay in a buffer zone in Lebanon at five strategic outposts and will continue to enforce, forcefully and uncompromisingly, any violation by Hezbollah," Katz said. "Hezbollah must withdraw completely beyond the Litani River line, and the Lebanese army must enforce this and disarm them under the supervision of the mechanism established under the guidance of the United States." "We are determined to provide full security to all communities in the north," Katz added.
