Turin, Jan. 27 (LaPresse) – The return of displaced persons to northern Gaza is ‘a victory’ for the Palestinians and a defeat for the Israelis. This was stated by Hamas in a statement quoted by Al Jazeera. According to the organisation, the scenes of the return of Palestinians to the areas from which they had been displaced confirm their connection with their land and once again ‘demonstrate,’ it says, ‘the failure of the occupation to achieve its aggressive goals of displacing people and breaking their firm will.
