Turin, 28 May (LaPresse) – Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori have kicked off their campaign in the men’s doubles at Roland Garros, the second Grand Slam of the current season on the clay courts of Paris, with a fine victory. The Italian pair defeated Australia’s James Duckworth and Argentina’s Marco Trungelliti in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4. In the next round, they will face India’s Yuki Bhambri and New Zealand’s Michael Venus, whom they defeated in the first round of the recent BNL Italian Open.
