Rome, 24 May (LaPresse) – Luna Rossa has won the first preliminary races in Cagliari for the 38th Louis Vuitton America’s Cup, beating New Zealand in the final. It was a race under control for the Luna Rossa crew, who capitalised on the penalty for a false start imposed on New Zealand. This is a significant victory for Luna Rossa ahead of the challenge in Naples in 2027.
