The Cavs will now face the New York Knicks to decide who will represent the East in the season’s grand final. Game 1 is scheduled for Tuesday. In the match against the Pistons (who were the conference’s top seed), Evan Mobley also put in an excellent performance (21 points and 12 rebounds). Daniss Jenkins (17 points), Cade Cunningham and Duncan Robinson (13 each) were among the best for Detroit. For Cleveland, this is their ninth conference final overall, the last one dating back to 2018.
