Rome, 16 May (LaPresse) – Alex Márquez wins the sprint race at the Catalan Grand Prix, the sixth round of the MotoGP World Championship. The Ducati Gresini rider finished ahead of Pedro Acosta on the KTM, with Fabio Di Giannantonio third on the Ducati VR46. Jorge Martín on the Aprilia crashed after just a few laps, whilst the championship leader, Marco Bezzecchi, finished ninth.
