Milan, 11 April (LaPresse) – Cagliari struggled but secured three points with a 1-0 win over Cremonese on matchday 32 of Serie A, thanks to a 63rd-minute goal from Sebastiano Esposito. With the win at the Domus Arena, Pisacane’s Rossoblù climb the table to 33 points, level with Genoa and five points clear of the joint third-bottom pair, Cremonese and Lecce. In the other 3pm kick-off, Torino won 2-1 at home against Verona, with goals from Giovanni Simeone and Cesare Casadei. Kieron Bowie’s first-half equaliser proved futile. The Granata have all but secured their survival, reaching 39 points and sitting 12 points clear of the third-bottom spot. With their fourth defeat in a row, however, Verona remain rooted to the bottom of the table alongside Pisa on 18 points.
