ATP Monte Carlo: Sinner through to the last 16, Humbert knocked out in two sets

Rome, 7 April (LaPresse) – Jannik Sinner, making his season debut in singles on clay, has reached the last 16 of the Monte Carlo Masters 1000. The world number two defeated France’s Ugo Humbert, ranked 34th in the ATP rankings, in two sets, 6-3, 6-0, after one hour and five minutes. Sinner has now won 36 consecutive sets in 18 matches at a Masters 1000 tournament.
