The Nerazzurri took the lead in the 29th minute with a superb goal from Scalvini, who was also the star of the first-leg match. In the second half, after an initial spell in which Lecce tried to fight back and came close to equalising, Palladino’s side extended their lead and threatened to run riot. The former Krstovic scored the second in the 59th minute. Giacomo Raspadori completed the hat-trick in the 73rd minute. In the table, the Salento side remain third from bottom, level with Cremonese on 27 points.
