Milan, 30 March (LaPresse) – At the start of the clay-court season, Italy boasts two players in the Top 5 and four in the Top 20 of the ATP rankings. Behind Jannik Sinner and Lorenzo Musetti, still ranked 2nd and 5th in the world respectively, Flavio Cobolli has moved up a place, bringing him another step closer to the Top 10 and improving his career-best ranking to 13th. Luciano Darderi, who has dropped to 19th, rounds off the group of four Italians in the Top 20. As for Sinner, the Italian number one can look forward to the next event, the Monte-Carlo Masters 1000, with the chance to overtake Carlos Alcaraz and return to world number one. The Spaniard returns from the US with 13,590 points and the certainty of equalling Sinner’s record of 66 weeks at the top on 6 April.
