(LaPresse) – Ten games were played in the NBA last night, with the Detroit Pistons continuing their run by beating the Los Angeles Lakers 113-110, bringing their nine-game winning streak to an end. The San Antonio Spurs secured an easy away win, beating the Miami Heat 136-111 thanks to the usual Wembanyama, who recorded 26 points and 15 rebounds in the Spurs’ sixth consecutive victory. The Oklahoma City Thunder also secured an away win, beating the Philadelphia 76ers 123-103. It was plain sailing for the Atlanta Hawks, who beat the Memphis Grizzlies 146-107 at home; for the Georgia side, it was their twelfth win in their last thirteen games. The Chicago Bulls also won, beating the Houston Rockets 132-124. A 40-point performance from Durant wasn’t enough for the Texans. In other matches, the Indiana Pacers pulled off a surprise 128-126 victory over the Orlando Magic, whilst the Toronto Raptors beat the Utah Jazz 143-127. The Golden State Warriors beat the Dallas Mavericks 137-131 after overtime, with rookie Flagg’s 32 points proving futile. It was plain sailing for the Portland Trail Blazers, who beat the Brooklyn Nets 134-99, whilst the Los Angeles Clippers secured a 129-96 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.
