Milan, 23 March (LaPresse) – Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini have qualified for the quarter-finals of the doubles draw at the “Miami Open”, the fourth WTA 1000 event of the season (combined with the second ATP Masters 1000 of 2026) with a total prize fund of $9,411,725, currently being played on the hard courts of Hard Rock Stadium (the ‘home’ of the NFL’s Miami Dolphins) in Florida. The two Italians (both ranked No. 5 in the doubles rankings), the top seeds, following their convincing opening match against Japan’s Aoyama and Norway’s Ulrikke Eikeri (No. 51 and No. 38), defeated Slovakia’s Tereza Mihalikova and Britain’s Olivia Nicholls in the second round, both ranked 32nd in doubles and 11th as a pair in the Race to Turin, with a score of 6-4, 6-4.
