Rome, 22 March (LaPresse) – Mattia Furlani has won the silver medal at the World Indoor Athletics Championships currently taking place in Torun, Poland. A superb performance from the Italian, who jumped 8.39 metres, but the gold went to Portugal’s Gerson Baldé (8.46). Bronze went to Bulgaria’s Bozhidar Sarâboyukov (8.31).
