Rome, 22 Mar. (LaPresse) – Roma shook off their cup disappointment and a run of poor form to beat Lecce 1-0, though not without some late-game drama. The hosts were the better side in the first half, with a goal by Pisilli in the 24th minute ruled out for a previous offside by Pellegrini. In the 57th minute came the goal that decided the match: Robinio Vaz rose highest to beat Falcone with a header, before celebrating his first goal in a Giallorossi shirt beneath the South Stand. With this victory, Gasperini’s men – who welcomed Angelino back to the pitch – draw level with Juventus on 54 points and close the gap on Como.
