Turin, 18 March (LaPresse) – Arsenal, PSG and Real Madrid have progressed to the Champions League quarter-finals following the second legs of the round of 16. After a 1-1 draw in the first leg, the Gunners beat Bayer Leverkusen 2-0 at home. Goals from Eze and Rice proved decisive. The Parisians, having already won the first leg in France 5-2, also progressed in London, winning 3-0 with goals from Kvaratskhelia, Barcola and Mayulu. Real Madrid also progressed, following up their 3-0 win in Madrid with a 2-1 victory at the Etihad Stadium to knock Manchester City out. The English side were down to ten men from the 20th minute following Bernardo Silva’s red card, and Vinicius’s subsequent penalty put the Blancos ahead. Haaland levelled the scores, but in stoppage time Vinicius once again secured victory for Real.
