Milan, 18 March (LaPresse) – ‘The weather here isn’t great, so we’ll see how it turns out. I’m happy to be here; it’s an important tournament that I missed out on last year. It’s the last tournament before the clay-court season, so we’ll see how it goes – I’ll try to give it my all.’ So said Jannik Sinner speaking to Sky Sport ahead of his debut at the ATP tournament in Miami, the last Masters 1000 event before the start of the clay-court season. As of this week, there are four Italians in the world’s top 20, a record never achieved before. ‘It’s an important moment that we must make the most of; there’s a lot of hard work behind all the teams. It’s an individual sport and everyone is finding their own balance; we feel a lot of support from home and we’re trying to make you as happy as possible,’ he added.
