Rome, 7 March (LaPresse) – Italy's first medal at the Milan-Cortina 2026 Paralympics. The victory in the women's downhill went to Chiara Mazzel who, paired with guide Nicola Cotti Cottini, took silver, 48 hundredths of a second behind Austria's Veronika Aigner, who won gold with a time of 1'22‘55. Third place went to Slovakia's Alexandra Rexova, while the other Italian competitor, Martina Vozza, finished fifth, 7’99 behind.
