Rome, Feb. 19 (LaPresse) – The Lazio Regional Administrative Court (First Section Ter) rejected, with four orders filed today (nos. 1064, 1065, 1066, and 1067), the precautionary requests submitted by the fan associations of AS Roma, ACF Fiorentina, and SSC Napoli against the Interior Ministry decrees imposing away match bans until the end of the football season, pursuant to Article 7-bis.1 of Law No. 401 of 1989. The measures were adopted following clashes between opposing supporters along highways during travel to the stadiums. The TAR deemed the need to protect public order and safety to be paramount. The decree concerning Lazio supporters was not challenged. Regarding Roma, order no. 1066 partially accepted the appeal only for the away match ban for residents in Lazio provinces outside Rome, thus limiting the scope of the measure.
